Like father, like son-flying for 49 years

Dong Huawen held a record for more than 20,000 hours of safe flying during his 41-year career as an award-winning pilot. His son became the youngest co-pilot of a MD-90 commercial jet airliner for China Southern Airlines. The father and the son have an accumulated flying history of 49 years, spanning dramatic developments in China’s civil aviation.
