A Friendly Visit that Brings China-Spain Relations even Closer
Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s visit to China is the perfect opportunity to advance bilateral cooperation at both the state and provincial levels, Jesús Osuna Sanz, president of the Spain-based Friends of China Association (Asociación de Amistad España-China) said on March 31 in an exclusive interview with China Today.
Since its establishment in 1987, the association has worked steadfastly to push forward and facilitate exchanges and cooperation between Spain and China in a wide range of fields. Promoting exchanges among the young people and start-ups of the two countries, as well as cultural and sci-tech cooperation, now top the association’s agenda.
Alluding to the splendid culture of both countries, Osuna Sanz said, “We intend to embrace as many cooperation opportunities as possible in this regard.” He is also keen to fuel bilateral economic cooperation that will strengthen ties between Spain and China.
