Fire in Guangxi kills 5 people
Five people died in a fire that broke out in Cangwu county of Wuzhou city, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on 8th of April, said the local emergency management bureau on 9th of April.
The fire occurred at 3 am, in 8th of April, at a street-front shop in Lingjiao town. Based on the fire department's preliminary research, it was caused by an electrical line fault, according to a statement from the county's emergency management bureau.
Cangwu county initiated its emergency response plan and organized the fire department, public security, health and other departments to arrive at the scene and rescue those trapped.
Post-accident cleanup efforts are currently underway, the statement added.
