Two sections of Anhai Bay Grand Bridge on a sea-crossing high-speed railway connecting Fuzhou and Xiamen in southeast China's Fujian Province are joined together, April 6, 2022. It is the first time that a ballast-less track has been laid on a cable-stayed bridge with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
The base consists of sample collection cabins, sample processing cabins, sample preserving cabins and high-pressure sterilization cabins with a maximum daily testing capability of 30,000 tubes of 300,000 samples.
The track laying work started on Thursday. The Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway, with a length of 277.42 kilometers and a designed speed of 350 km per hour, is expected to be the first cross-sea railway for bullet trains in China.
