Underwater Great Wall resurfaces from Panjiakou reservoir
Aerial views of the underwater Great Wall located in the Panjiakou reservoir, north China's Hebei Province, May 8, 2023. The underwater Great Wall belongs to the Panjiakou castle which was an important military pass in Ming dynasty (1368-1644). After the Panjiakou reservoir was built in 1975, some part of the Great Wall was submerged.
