Zhengzhou-Wanzhou high-speed railway under construction

Aerial photos taken on April 12, 2021 show workers working on the ballastless tracks at the construction site of Nanzhang Station of the Zhengzhou-Wanzhou high-speed railway in Nanzhang County, central China's Hubei Province. With a designed speed of 350 km per hour, the Zhengzhou-Wanzhou railway, linking Zhengzhou in central China's Henan Province and Wanzhou in southwest China's Chongqing, is an important part of the railway systems in the two regions. Compared to traditional tracks, the ballastless track has a longer life span and requires less effort in maintenance.
